Overview
This project involved the complete interior design of a high-end residence in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighborhood. The homeowner envisioned a refined, contemporary interior that balanced clean modern lines with warm natural materials and curated art placements. Our scope spanned concept development through furniture procurement and installation oversight.
Challenge
The client had exacting standards for material quality and finish detail, requiring sourcing of European stone, custom-milled hardwood flooring, and bespoke millwork from specialty fabricators. The home's Victorian-era structure presented uneven floor planes and non-standard wall dimensions that demanded precision templating. Every design decision needed to complement panoramic Bay views without competing with them.
Solution
We developed photorealistic 3D renderings for every principal room, allowing the client to experience material palettes, lighting scenarios, and furniture arrangements before any work began on site. Custom millwork was designed in-house and fabricated by a San Francisco artisan workshop. A muted palette of white oak, honed Calacatta marble, and brushed brass hardware unified the spaces, while floor-to-ceiling glazing was left unobstructed to frame the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge views.
